“Vanderpump Rules” Refugees Find Solace (and Probably Drama) in “The Valley” Season Two

The Valley

So, the SURvers are hitting the road – or, more accurately, the Valley. A quartet of familiar faces from the “Vanderpump Rules” wreckage – Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Brock Davies, and Tom Schwartz – has apparently washed up on the shores of Bravo’s “The Valley” for its second season. Consider this less a crossover and more a life raft deployment.

With the “Vanderpump” landscape drastically altered after last season’s Scandoval fallout and the announcement of a new season with a completely new cast, these cast members find themselves adrift in a sea of shifting alliances and uncertain futures. “The Valley,” a spin-off that premiered in March 2024, presents a convenient landing spot, or at least a temporary port in the reality TV storm.

Exactly how these personalities will fit into the already-established “Valley” crew is anyone’s guess. Will they be welcomed with open arms or met with icy stares and passive-aggressive barbs? Will Lala’s unfiltered commentary clash with the existing social dynamics? Can Schwartz even function in a reality TV setting without Sandoval as his wingman?

One thing’s for sure: the potential for fireworks is high. Throwing these seasoned drama magnets into a new environment is a recipe for reality TV gold – or at least a decent amount of manufactured conflict. And let’s be real, Bravo wouldn’t have it any other way.

Season two of “The Valley” has already wrapped filming, so the extent of the “Vanderpump” crew’s involvement is currently under wraps. Are they full-fledged cast members or just making a few strategic appearances? We’ll have to wait for the premiere date announcement (still pending from Bravo) to find out. Until then, speculate wildly, and place your bets on who’ll be the first to throw a drink or deliver a cutting one-liner.

“The Valley” airs on Bravo.
