Lifetime is back with another ripped-from-the-headlines-maybe thriller, this time set in the scorching, unforgiving landscape of Death Valley. When a family’s car breaks down in this desolate location, their teenage daughter vanishes, turning a bad road trip into a desperate fight for survival.
The parents, now facing every parent’s worst nightmare, must race against time and the elements to find their daughter. The movie stars Aryè Campos, Katherine Joan Taylor, and Matthew Pohlkamp, who are tasked with bringing this high-stakes drama to life.
The setting itself becomes a character in the story, adding a sense of urgency and isolation to the family’s already dire situation. Death Valley isn’t exactly known for its hospitality, and it will be interesting to see how this unforgiving backdrop plays into the narrative.
