VERSANT Lays Out Ambitious 2025-26 Slate with 16 New Originals Across E!, USA, SYFY & Oxygen

TV News Just In

**VERSANT**, the forthcoming standalone entity spun off from Comcast, is planting a flag in the 2025-26 television season with a wide-ranging content push across its core networks—**E!**, **USA Network**, **SYFY** and **Oxygen True Crime**. The slate includes 16 new original series, key franchise returns, and a strategic blend of unscripted, scripted and live programming aimed at reclaiming audience share in a fragmented marketplace.

Unveiled Tuesday as part of **NBCUniversal’s** broader upfront rollout, the programming package reflects VERSANT’s effort to solidify its identity ahead of its expected separation from Comcast later this year. The networks involved span genre, reality, sports and crime, with content designed to play across linear and streaming windows.

Among the headline plays: Kimora Lee Simmons returns to E! this December with **Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane**, a reality series centered on her dual life as a single mother and fashion business operator. Also on E!, **Plastic Surgery Rewind** arrives this summer, hosted by Michelle Visage and Dr. Terry Dubrow, while **Dirty Rotten Scandals**, a new documentary strand unearthing controversies behind legacy daytime and reality franchises, is set for Spring 2026.

**USA Network** is leaning into IP. **The Rainmaker**, based on the John Grisham novel, will bow in Summer 2025, with Milo Callaghan, John Slattery and Lana Parrilla in lead roles. Further out, 2026 will bring **Anna Pigeon**, adapted from Nevada Barr’s national park-set mystery novels.

**SYFY** continues its focus on elevated genre storytelling with **Revival**, based on the comic of the same name. Launching June 12, the series stars Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman and David James Elliott and explores the supernatural fallout of the recently deceased returning to life in small-town Wisconsin.

**Oxygen True Crime** adds volume and visibility with multiple new entries, including **The Death Investigator with Barbara Butcher**, **The Death Row Informant**, and **Killer Grannies**. _Alan Cumming_ will front **The Killer Among Us**, arriving Spring 2026, which examines how a murderer hides in plain sight within a close-knit community. Several of these projects remain network-unspecified but are slated under the VERSANT content umbrella.

Live programming remains central. **USA** will retain **WWE SmackDown** in its Friday 8 PM slot, while E! and USA will simulcast the _31st Annual Critics Choice Awards_ on January 4, 2026. Kristin Cavallari’s **Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour** debuts June 4 on E! with back-to-back episodes, while WWE veteran Braun Strowman headlines food-reality hybrid Everything On The Menu, currently undated and unassigned.

Fan-favorite titles returning across the portfolio include **Resident Alien** (USA/SYFY, June 6), **Surreal Estate** (SYFY, April 3), **Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins** (Oxygen, Fall 2025), and long-running true-crime staple Snapped.

The aggressive rollout signals VERSANT’s intent to make a clear impression as it prepares for independent operation. With genre-spanning content and a mix of known IP and personality-driven formats, the slate positions the new entity to maintain legacy audiences while courting growth across emerging demos and digital touchpoints.
