Oskar Rheinhardt and Max Liebermann return to the cobblestone streets of 1900s Vienna, where murder and intrigue lurk around every dimly lit corner. In “A Winning Hand,” their latest case takes them into the shadowy world of underground gambling, a milieu ripe with secrets and shady characters. As if solving a murder weren’t enough, Oskar’s feelings for Therese continue to simmer, adding more romantic complication to his already complex life. Meanwhile, Max grapples with doubts about his relationship with Clara. Is it a winning hand, or is he about to fold?
