Vietnam Footsteps of my Father with Harris Faulkner

Harris Faulkner is retracing her father’s footsteps in Vietnam for a new limited series premiering today on Fox Nation.

Lt. Col. Bobby Harris served two tours of duty as an Army combat pilot during the Vietnam War. Now, his daughter is exploring the conflict through the eyes of historians, veterans, and family members.

“The Vietnam War was such a pivotal moment in our nation’s history,” Faulkner said. “It is both an honor and a privilege to view the war through the footsteps of my father.”

The series, Vietnam: Footsteps of My Father with Harris Faulkner, sees the presenter travel over 8,000 miles to locations including Saigon, the Cu Chi tunnels, and Da Nang.

She meets with military historian Brian DeToy and hears recordings of her father discussing close calls during the war.

Faulkner also interviews retired US Army personnel and the current US Ambassador to Vietnam, Marc Knapper.

The three-part series explores lessons of bravery, faith, and perseverance, offering a unique perspective on the conflict.

Episode one, My Divine Assignment, sees Faulkner and DeToy visit Independence Palace and the Saigon River, where her father had a close call during a combat mission.

In Faith Is A Mighty Weapon (episode two), Faulkner explores a network of enemy tunnels and hears stories from American veterans. She also meets with the US Ambassador in Da Nang.

The final episode, Healing The Wounds Of War, features a meeting between Faulkner and two veterans who were once on opposing sides of the conflict but are now friends.

Faulkner, a six-time Emmy award-winning anchor and author, joined Fox News in 2005. She currently anchors The Faulkner Focus and co-hosts Outnumbered, both outperforming rival broadcast and cable news programs.

Her interviewees have included former President Donald Trump, Senator Joe Manchin, and Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas.
