The daytime talk show behemoth, “The View,” continues its 28th season with another characteristically eclectic mix of guests. From political heavyweights to reality TV hosts and historical deep-dives, the week of January 27-31 offers a broad spectrum of conversation fodder for the show’s panel.
The week kicks off with a decidedly political slant. Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) joins the ladies on Monday, January 27th. The following day, Tuesday, January 28th, brings a double dose of topicality. Alan Cumming, the host of Peacock’s currently airing reality competition series “The Traitors,” will likely discuss his foray into the reality TV realm. Following Cumming, Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-Mich.) takes the stage to discuss her political career and her new book, “True Gretch.”
Wednesday, January 29th, sees the arrival of Harvey Guillén, known for his role in the horror-comedy film “Companion,” among other projects. The actor will likely speak on his latest work, adding a dash of show business to the week’s proceedings.
Thursday, January 30th, brings a shift in gears as Henry Louis Gates Jr., the iconic host of PBS’s “Finding Your Roots,” graces the stage. Known for his deep explorations of genealogy and African American history, Gates will almost certainly offer a different kind of discussion for the panel.
Rounding out the week on Friday, January 31st, is Michael Strahan, the ubiquitous television personality, with his roles on “Good Morning America,” “The $100,000 Pyramid.” Michael will talk about the documentary “Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight Against Cancer.”
“The View” airs weekdays at 11e/10c/p on ABC.
