Things go from bad to worse in this week’s “Virdee.” With Detective Harry Virdee (Staz Nair) laid up in hospital following a brutal attack, the balance of power shifts dramatically. No longer the hunter, Virdee finds himself vulnerable, the target of a killer who’s now calling the shots.
Rather than lying low, the perpetrator takes a bold step, contacting the police with a proposition. The nature of this offer remains unclear, but it’s safe to assume it comes with strings attached. Meanwhile, the ripple effects of Virdee’s absence are felt across the Hyatt family. Riaz Hyatt (Vikash Bhai) finds himself squarely in Vasil’s crosshairs, facing a revenge plot that could have deadly consequences.
And then there’s Saima (Aysha Kala). Her ongoing surveillance of Riaz unearths some family secrets she wasn’t expecting, secrets that threaten to shake the Hyatt family to its core. This episode seems ripe for some serious familial fallout, with long-held truths coming to light and relationships potentially fracturing under the pressure.
