Vision Films ‘For Prophet’ Arrives on Streaming Platforms on July 26

For Prophet

Vision Films has announced the Transactional VOD release of the faith-based film “For Prophet” across the US and Canada on 26 July 2024, with a simultaneous release on Sky Store in the UK. The film, written, directed, and produced by Mark Stewart Iverson, offers a contemporary take on the age-old struggle of finding one’s faith and values.

“For Prophet” tells the story of Damon Fisher, a struggling entrepreneur who encounters the relentlessly positive Archangel Raphael. Fisher, played by Ben Marten, learns that he has been chosen by God to become a part-time prophet with the mission to save his corrupt hometown. The film also stars Valentina Garcia as Archangel Raphael and Enrico Natale.

According to Lise Romanoff, CEO of Vision Films, “For Prophet is a delightful and fun comedy that reminds us that we can make the right choices and find faith regardless of everyday challenges and struggles.”

Iverson, the filmmaker, shared that he felt called to create a movie that would make people laugh and think about the struggle of life and the role that faith can play in overcoming doubt and fear. “I believe that the highest value in art is making people wonder about the eternal and really contemplate the human condition,” he said.
