More4’s “Warplane Workshop” is back this Monday, and this time the story goes beyond just nuts and bolts. “The Amazing Mr Grace” follows pilot and engineer Richard Grace as he gets ready for a major airshow – taking place right at the airfield where he’s spent years carefully restoring his collection of warbirds.
But this episode takes a deeply personal turn. While Richard puts the event together for an unsuspecting crowd, he’s also secretly battling a terminal illness. Knowing this might be his last airshow gives the whole event a particularly moving significance.
