Warrior Series Will Not Be Revived for a Fourth Season on Netflix

Fans of Warrior who were hoping for a revival will be disappointed to learn that Netflix has decided not to move forward with a fourth season of the show.

Originally airing on Max, the series, which follows the story of a Chinese immigrant in 1870s San Francisco, was cancelled after three seasons and 30 episodes in December 2023. The series featured a strong ensemble cast, including Andrew Koji, Kieran Bew, Olivia Cheng, and Joe Taslim.

Netflix picked up the existing seasons and Warrior performed well enough to land in the platform’s Top 10, with its first season becoming the 80th most-watched TV show of 2024’s first half. Despite this success, it appears that a deal to continue the series could not be reached.

Actor Joe Taslim, who portrayed Li Yong, expressed gratitude for the show’s impact on social media, noting the positive responses he has received from fans. He added “Season 3 is our last season, we don’t have the chance to continue the story. But still so grateful. Thank You.”
