On Wednesday May 15 on, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen welcomes Andra Day and Cecily Strong to the show.
Day, a Grammy-winning singer and actress, is known for songs like “Rise Up” and “Stand Up for Something.” She recently performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” also known as “The Black National Anthem,” at the 2024 Super Bowl. Day also portrayed Billie Holiday in the film The United States vs. Billie Holiday. She will discuss her upcoming album, Cassandra, on which she is taking on a greater creative role and collaborating with friends and her band.
Cecily Strong is an actress and comedian, best known for her work on Saturday Night Live. She has also appeared in films such as Ghostbusters and The Female Brain. Strong and has been starring in the Off-Broadway play Brooklyn Laundry by John Patrick Shanley at the Manhattan Theatre Club’s New York City Center.
