Watch What Happens Live welcomes supermodel and businesswoman Chanel Ayan, and filmmaker, actor, and author Justin Simien to the show.
Chanel Ayan, a Kenyan-born Somali and Ethiopian supermodel, joins the show to discuss her career and her role in the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Dubai. Ayan has worked with top designers such as Chanel, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, and has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Forbes, and Elle magazine. She is also the founder of Ayan Beauty and Ayan Skin, a makeup and skincare line developed with celebrity makeup artist Toni Malt.
Justin Simien, an American filmmaker, actor, and author, will be on the show to discuss his work. Simien wrote, directed, and produced the critically acclaimed indie film Dear White People, which won the Sundance Special Jury Award for Breakthrough Talent. The film was later adapted into a Netflix series, which ran from 2017 to 2021. Simien has been in the news this week talking about his regret that his “Star Wars: Lando” series, which had been in development at Disney, will not be going ahead.
