Andrea Canning, a Canadian-born American journalist, has worked for multiple media stations in Canada and the US. She is currently a Dateline correspondent for NBC News and contributes to other NBC platforms, including Today and MSNBC. Canning is also a screenwriter and has written various TV and movie scripts, particularly for Hallmark and Lifetime.
