In the realm of heartwarming family dramas with a dash of time travel, Hallmark’s “The Way Home” is right up there at number one in what is an admittedly very short list. The Landry women are back on Friday night, and this time, love is on the agenda. Alice, Kat, and Del each grapple with their romantic pasts, presents, and futures.
While the details of the episode remain shrouded in the Hallmarkian mists of secrecy, we can expect some heartwarming introspection and at least one character confessing their feelings in a charmingly awkward manner. Jacob, still dealing with a pesky surplus of time-traveling memories, continues to make life complicated for everyone.
Will love conquer all? Will the Landry women find their happily ever afters? Will Jacob finally get a handle on his temporal displacement issues? These questions and more will (hopefully) be answered when “The Way Home” airs Friday, January 24th at 9 p.m. on Hallmark Channel.
