Long before the Losers’ Club, another generation of children knew that something was deeply wrong with the town of Derry. In the 1960s, four months after the sudden disappearance of their classmate, a group of friends named Teddy, Phil, Lilly, and Ronnie decide they can no longer ignore the town’s dark history. They vow to uncover the truth behind why so many kids go missing in Derry.
Their investigation begins just as they each start experiencing bizarre and terrifying phenomena, suggesting an ancient evil is stirring once again. Meanwhile, the arrival of Major Leroy Hanlon at the local Air Force Base introduces another mystery, as he faces a cold reception from his fellow airmen. What connects the disappearances to the strange occurrences haunting the friends, and are they hunting a monster, or is it hunting them?
