What Would You Do? “Episode 6” (ABC, Wednesday, February 12, 2025)

ABC’s “What Would You Do?” returns Wednesday with another dose of ethically ambiguous situations designed to make viewers squirm – and maybe reflect on their own moral compasses. This week, the show tackles drunk driving, illegal plastic surgery, elder abuse, and the ever-reliable powder keg of youth sports.

In one scenario, a visibly intoxicated driver stumbles out of a bar, fumbling with their keys. Hidden cameras capture the reactions of bystanders. Will anyone intervene, or will the potential danger be ignored? The show also sets up a scenario involving illegal plastic surgery performed in a shady backroom clinic. This setup aims to spark a conversation about the pressures of beauty standards and the extreme measures some take to achieve them.

Another segment focuses on elder abuse, a quietly pervasive issue. The show depicts a caregiver neglecting an elderly person, leaving viewers to wrestle with the question of when and how to step in. Finally, “What Would You Do?” wouldn’t be complete without a foray into the world of competitive parents.

This time, it’s a soccer dad who goes completely offsides, creating a chaotic scene at a children’s game. Will other parents confront him, or will they let the bad behavior slide? As always, John Quiñones observes the unfolding dramas from behind the scenes, offering commentary and occasionally stepping in to interview participants about their choices. It’s a fascinating, if sometimes uncomfortable, look at human nature in action.

“What Would You Do?” airs Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
