Just when you thought the drama was contained to one luxury resort, “The White Lotus” throws a curveball. In this Sunday’s episode, “Hide or Seek,” the scenery shifts as some of our vacationers go resort hopping. Jaclyn, apparently tired of the current vibe (or lack thereof), takes her gaggle of gal pals to a neighboring establishment, acting on a tip from the ever-helpful Valentin. What could possibly go wrong?
Meanwhile, back on the yacht, Piper steels herself for a big reveal. After seeking reassurance from Lochlan, she’s ready to share some life-altering news with her family. Given the show’s penchant for awkward and uncomfortable moments, this should be good.
And then there’s Rick, finally ready to open up to Chelsea about his past. The question is, will his long-held secrets bring them closer or drive them further apart? “The White Lotus” excels at peeling back the carefully constructed facades of its characters, exposing the messy realities beneath.
