In the fifth episode of Whitstable Pearl’s second season, Pearl (Kerry Godliman), takes on a personal case as she investigates unexplained occurrences in her mother Dolly’s (Frances Barber) house.
Dolly has noticed strange happenings, including money disappearing and reappearing, and the radio being tuned to the wrong station.
Suspecting early signs of Alzheimer’s Disease, Pearl installs security cameras to monitor the house. However, when Pearl and Dolly review the footage together, they uncover an answer to the mysterious events that neither of them expected.
The episode also features Howard Charles as DCI Mike Maguire, Rohan Nedd as Pearl’s son Charlie, and Robert Webb as Tom.
Whitstable Pearl Season 2 Episode 5 airs Thursday, 22 August at 9.00 pm on U&Drama, with all episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 available for streaming on U.
