In this episode, Corwin visits the Miccosukee tribe, whose students are being educated to become guardians of their unique environment. He also stops by a sanctuary that houses a variety of turtle species and learns about the important work being done to conserve and protect these reptiles.

Additionally, Corwin meets with the team at ZooTampa, where they are focused on manatee rehabilitation. The dedicated staff at ZooTampa is committed to nursing injured and sick manatees back to health so they can be released back into the wild.
