It’s baby skunk season at the Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and Jan, Saskatchewan’s first registered wildlife rehabilitator, has her hands full. This Saturday’s first episode of “Wildlife Rehab” offers a look at the day-to-day challenges of caring for vulnerable animals, as Jan and her team juggle a surge of new patients, including an adorable but pungent baby skunk.
“Community” emphasizes not just the animals but the humans who dedicate their lives to their care. The episode provides a glimpse into the hard work, the difficult decisions, and the emotional toll involved in wildlife rehabilitation.
Tune in to National Geographic Wild this Saturday, April 19th at 10:00 PM to see how Jan and her team handle the influx of furry and feathered friends.
