Will Trent, April 9, 2024, ABC, “We Are Family”

In this episode of Will Trent, viewers can look forward to an emotionally charged installment as Will reconnects with a long-lost relative, uncovering unexpected and profound similarities. The episode, titled “We Are Family,” airing on Tuesday April 9 on ABC, sees Will, played by Ramón Rodríguez, experience a reunion that shakes him to his core.

Following on from the previous episode, Will receives a message from his Uncle Antonio, played by John Ortiz, who is curious about his nephew and eager to bond with him. Will, having grown up in the foster care system, has never met his uncle before, and this newfound connection prompts Will to confront his family history and challenges his understanding of identity and belonging.

Meanwhile, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Atlanta Police Department (APD) join forces to investigate the murder of a judge. With the judge having as many supporters as enemies, the case leads the team to a drag queen club, where they uncover secrets and explore the judge’s complicated relationship with her son, who works as a drag queen.

As the GBI and APD race to unravel the truth behind the judge’s murder, tensions rise, alliances are tested, and Faith’s connection with Luke deepens, adding complexity to their relationship.
