Is that a hint of “General Hospital” I detect in the title of this week’s “Will Trent”? Intriguing. Whatever the connection, “A Funeral Fit for a Quartermaine” finds our favorite GBI agent facing a different kind of investigation – one that hits close to home, both emotionally and geographically.
When Rafael’s grandmother unexpectedly passes away, he turns to Will for support. The funeral brings them back to their old neighborhood, a place filled with shared history and, it seems, some unresolved issues. As they grapple with the grief of the present, Will and Rafael are forced to confront painful ghosts of the past – those difficult episodes they thought they’d left behind.
But this wouldn’t be “Will Trent” without a touch of danger. As if emotional baggage weren’t enough, the pair stumble into present-day threats that put their lives on the line.
