Lifetime Movie Network presents The Wrong Marriage, a new thriller airing Thursday, June 26, at 8:00 PM ET. The film centers on Carrie, a woman desperate to escape an abusive marriage, who makes a drastic decision: to disappear and adopt a completely new identity. But as often happens in these stories, her past is not easily outrun.
Carrie’s attempt at a fresh start leads her to a quiet life as a waitress, far from the shadows of her former husband. She finds an unexpected ally in Kim, her best friend and a criminal defense attorney, who helps her with her new, hidden existence. Just when it seems Carrie might find some peace, a mysterious neighbor enters her life, sparking a connection she never saw coming.
However, the quiet romance is short-lived. Carrie’s dark past resurfaces, threatening to dismantle her new life and jeopardize the fragile relationship she has just begun to build.
