Wendy Moniz, who portrays Governor Lynelle Perry in the Paramount Network’s smash hit Yellowstone, has announced her departure from the series. Moniz shared the news on Instagram, expressing her sentiments about wrapping up her final scene on August 1, 2023.

In her post, Moniz reflected on her time on the show, expressing gratitude for the “beautiful experience” and praising the talented and dedicated team she worked with since 2017. She also acknowledged the sense of community on set, describing it as a “home away from home.”

Yellowstone is set to conclude with Season 5B, premiering on November 10, 2023. However, the franchise will continue through various spin-offs, potentially including The Madison, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Patrick J. Adams, and the previously announced 2024, which may feature Yellowstone cast members Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Luke Grimes.
