The much-loved Greens are back on Channel 5 this Tuesday, July 1, at 9 PM BST, with a new episode of The Yorkshire Vet: At Home with the Greens. Episode 4 brings a mix of heartwarming moments and rural practicality, including a big birthday surprise for Steve and a rescue mission for a very old tractor.
Peter Wright is on special assignment, planning a 96th birthday celebration for Steve. No doubt this will bring the community together, as these programs often do. Meanwhile, a welder finds a stray kitten at the local steel yard, adding a new small creature to the already bustling farm life.
One of the more ambitious tasks involves giving Oddjob, Steve’s old tractor that has been with him for seventy years, a much-needed overhaul. Peter calls in some highly skilled friends to help get the aged machine running again, making for a project filled with mechanical challenges and nostalgia. In a quieter moment, Peter also helps Jean with some shopping at Thirsk market.
