On Monday’s The Young and the Restless, Victor Newman, never one to let a grudge go stale, squares off against returning villain Ian Ward. The showdown takes place at the Newman Ranch, because where else would Victor confront his enemies? He orders Ian to leave Genoa City, adding a veiled threat for good measure. Ian, naturally, plays the reformed sinner card, but Victor sees through the charade. Even Nikki Newman is taken aback by Ian’s sudden reappearance, demanding answers. Clearly, Ian’s parole officer isn’t winning any “Employee of the Month” awards.
While Victor deals with Ian, Sharon Newman’s ordeal takes a dark turn. Jordan, apparently working solo while Ian distracts Victor, moves an unconscious Sharon to a new hideout. The location is described as “dark and disgusting,” suggesting a sewer, basement, or perhaps just a particularly messy teenager’s bedroom. Sharon, still under the influence of chloroform, remains blissfully unaware of her increasingly grim circumstances.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 PM on CBS. Don’t miss the drama on Monday, January 6, 2025.
