Friday’s Young and the Restless saw Sharon Newman finally cleared of all charges, thanks to evidence implicating Ian Ward in the recent chaos. But while Sharon breathed a sigh of relief, the fallout from her drug-induced actions continued to ripple through Genoa City.

Daniel, still reeling from Heather’s death and understandably bitter towards Sharon, struggled to forgive her, even with the mitigating circumstances. Grief and resentment are a potent cocktail, and Daniel seemed to be drowning in both. Meanwhile, Claire, ever the enigma, withheld key information from Kyle about the Jordan/Ian Ward saga, claiming she was bound by some secret pact with Nikki and Victoria.

In other Newman family news, Victor’s successful surgery brought a temporary reprieve, but the specter of his mortality continued to loom large.
