Summer Newman’s carefully constructed world at Marchetti looks set to crumble on Thursday’s “The Young and the Restless.” It’s a double dose of bad news for the fashionista as she learns that both Chelsea Lawson and Sally Spectra are considering jumping ship. Will Summer manage to keep her team intact, or will Marchetti face a mass exodus of talent? If both Chelsea and Sally decide to abandon ship will they each pledge loyalty to Summer should the other leave?
Meanwhile, Victor Newman continues his Machiavellian maneuvering, piling on the pressure for Audra Charles to drive a wedge between Kyle Abbott and Summer’s sister, Claire Newman. Victor either sweetens the deal for Audra or delivers a stark ultimatum.
Elsewhere, Nikki Newman attempts damage control with Victor, hoping to smooth things over regarding Claire’s living arrangements with Kyle. Good luck with that, Nikki.
And finally, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s antennae are twitching. She suspects her husband, Michael Baldwin, is playing a dangerous game after a clandestine meeting with Jack Abbott. Lauren fears that Michael’s secrecy, especially where Victor is concerned, will only lead to trouble.
