The winds of change are blowing through Genoa City, ruffling feathers and rearranging furniture. Adam Newman finds himself on a surprisingly steady path at Newman Enterprises, while Diane Jenkins Abbott sets her sights on redecorating the Abbott mansion, much to Jack’s probable dismay.
Billy Abbott, ever the champion of the underdog, assures Phyllis that Abbott Communications will be the antithesis of Newman Enterprises, a beacon of integrity in a cutthroat world. Good luck with that, Billy. Meanwhile, Diane, never one to sit still (or leave well enough alone), decides the Abbott mansion needs a makeover. Kyle is tasked with convincing Jack, which should be…interesting.
Victor, surprisingly, seems to have accepted Adam’s apparent transformation, even acknowledging his recent positive contributions to Newman Enterprises. Victoria, however, remains skeptical, suspecting Adam will revert to his old tricks the moment things go south. Chelsea, ever the pragmatist, reminds Adam that their co-parenting arrangement at the ranch is strictly platonic. One wonders if Adam will heed her words or if he has other plans.
And finally, Victor, pulling strings as always, instructs Adam to downplay Ian Ward’s role and omit Jordan entirely from Newman Media’s coverage. What’s the story there, Victor? The Young and the Restless airs at 12:30 PM on CBS. Check your local listings for showtimes.
