The Young and the Restless Wednesday, March 19 Spoilers

The Young and the Restless Key Art

Things might get a little too romantic in Genoa City this Wednesday on “The Young and the Restless.” Traci Abbott, ever the romantic, finds herself swept off her feet by the charming “Alan,” who suggests a spontaneous trip to Paris to scout wedding locations. Sounds dreamy, right? Well, considering “Alan” is actually Martin Laurent, a man with a past darker than a burnt croissant, maybe not so much.

While Traci mulls over the Parisian proposal, she turns to Diane and Jack for advice. This hints that perhaps Traci isn’t entirely comfortable with “Alan’s” whirlwind approach to romance, or maybe she senses something is a bit off about the guy. Given his history – let’s not forget the whole Havenhurst captivity situation – her instincts might be right on the money. Is Martin planning a quick escape to France as his secrets threaten to come out? If so, he might be dragging Traci into a dangerous situation.

Meanwhile, Sharon is busy applying pressure of her own. She pushes Nick to join her and Faith on a trip to Europe to see Noah, but the real agenda here seems to be fishing for information about their romantic future (or lack thereof). She flat-out asks Nick to confess his true feelings, putting him on the spot. At Crimson Lights, he finally delivers his answer about the European trip, but will he address the elephant in the room – their unresolved romantic tension?

Over in Newman land, the sparks are flying between Adam and Chelsea. They seem to think they’re on solid ground, but with these two, it’s only a matter of time before the drama bulldozer comes crashing through.
