The coming-of-age comedy Young Sheldon, a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory, airs its penultimate episode of the seventh and final season on CBS. The episode, titled “A New Home and a Traditional Texas Torture,” sets the stage for the highly anticipated hour long series finale next week.
In this episode, Sheldon Cooper’s father, George Sr., is facing a significant career decision as he is offered a new job. Meanwhile, Sheldon prepares for a major life change as he gets ready to move to California.
The series, narrated by Jim Parsons, who played Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory, explores the early years of Sheldon, a child genius, as he grows up in East Texas with his family in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The final season, consisting of 14 episodes, began on February 15, 2024, and will conclude with an hour-long finale on May 16.
The show’s talented cast includes Iain Armitage as young Sheldon, Zoe Perry as Mary Cooper, Lance Barber as George Cooper Sr., Montana Jordan as Georgie Cooper, Raegan Revord as Missy Cooper, and Annie Potts as Meemaw.
