Carol Drinkwater

English-Irish actress Carol Drinkwater became a household name from the late 1970’s playing Helen Herriot in BBC classic All Creatures Great and Small. Before that were numerous guest appearances on shows as diverse as The Sweeney, Public Eye, Raffles and A Bouquet of Barbed Wire.

Key film credits include Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange (1971), Queen Kong (1976), The Shout (1978), Father (1990) and An Awfully Big Adventure (1995).

In the 1980’s Drinkwater moved into writing and has written many best selling novels and non-fiction books (her non-fiction works have mostly been about life on the Olive Farm she owns in Provence with her TV producer husband Michel Noll).
