Hayley Atwell

English actress Hayley Atwell actually holds dual UK-US citizenship, her mother is English, her father American. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a degree in Acting and then kicked off her a career with several BBC television shows.

Her earlier roles include Catherine Fedden in The Line of Beauty, Lucy/4-15 in The Prisoner, Aliena in The Pillars of the Earth and Freya Deverell in Any Human Heart. On the big screen, she is credited for her work in Cassandra’s Dream, Brideshead Revisited, The Duchess, Love Hate, and Captain America: The First Avenger, where she played Peggy Carter, the role she has become most associated with.
