Previews First Dates Series Premiere 18 Apr on Channel 4 Published 2 years ago on April 16, 2017 It’s springtime, the blossom is blooming and love is in the air as Fred welcomes more single people looking for love to the new-look First Dates restaurant. And in this first episode of the new series, one dater faces more than she’s bargained for. First up, dapper 24-year-old gent Will is looking for his English rose to share his love of the countryside, but he’s never had a girlfriend and isn’t a natural when it comes to chatting up a lady. He loves tweed, and so does his date, Fran; is she the answer to his dreams? Mum-of-two Emma, who’s 47, is all glammed up and ready to play the love lottery, but Cupid throws a huge surprise her way. Emma’s had numerous dating disasters, and when the man who broke her heart walks through the door the drama begins. Also searching for Mr Right is science student Sameer; he’s clever, ambitious and charming, but as he reveals to his date Ciaran, life isn’t always as easy as it seems… Kooky Kat from Brighton is six feet tall and looking for a tall heavy metaller to share the good times with. Lofty long-haired rocker Daniel, aka Squid, strides into the restaurant on a mission to break the rules. Kat and Squid have both suffered confidence issues, but will their exciting match be music to their ears?
