The Frankenstein Chronicles Season 2 Episode 4 (ITVEncore 22 Nov 2017, with Francis Magee)

The Frankenstein Chronicles Season 2 Episode 4

The second series of The Frankenstein Chronicles, set in the 1830s starring Sean Bean continues, airs on Wednesday 22 November at 10.00pm on ITVEncore. No longer a policeman and now a fugitive, Marlott (Bean) is now taking cover in the Pye Street slum. Using the alias of Jack Martins, he works removing the plague-ridden dead.

In episode 4, Spence (Francis Magee, pictured) can no longer hold his peace and tells the Pye Street church congregation that their water was deliberately poisoned. It is the evening of Frederick Dipple’s (Laurence Fox) party and Esther (Maeve Dermody) asks Marlott to accompany her. An encounter with the mysterious Frederick makes Marlott realise he needs to protect his allies, who are increasingly in danger. The Dean of Westminster (Guy Henry) goads Peel (Tom Ward) on his failure to capture the clergy killer. A question mark now hangs over the abilities of Peel and his police force. It looks like
the King is unlikely to grant royal assent to his new cemetery bill.

The Frankenstein Chronicles Season 2 Episode 4 airs Wednesday 22 November 2017 from 10.00pm-11.00pm on ITVEncore.
