Robson Green's Coastal Lives

In this brand new series, premiering Tuesday 12 September at 8.00pm on ITV, Robson Green explores the extraordinary lives and homes of the people who live off Britain’s coastline – from families swapping their city homes for a new life
by the sea, to those who have lived on the coast for generations.

In the first episode, Robson heads to the Isle of Skye in Scotland. On Skye, he meets a family who are making plans to build their own timber house in just one day.

Croft farming is a huge part of life on Skye, and Robson meets a family of crofters who have been farming the land for four
generations. He assists them in moving their sheep on a small boat to nearby Staffin Island. Heading back out to sea
once more, Robson gets to try his hand at scallop diving. He joins a father and son team who search the seabed for the tasty local delicacy.

Finally, he heads off to the isolated island of Soay. He visits the tiny community of just three residents, and
finds out what it is like to live somewhere that is so cut off from the mainland.

Robson Green’s Coastal Lives Episode 1 airs Tuesday 12 September 2017 at 8.00pm on ITV.
