Sheridan The Special airs Sunday 5 Nov on ITV

A one-off special, airing on Sunday 5 November at 9.00pm on ITV, showcasing the talents of multi award-winning actor and singer Sheridan Smith.

Alexander Armstrong joins her to talk about her life and stratospheric career and the show celebrates the star’s love of music and performing. Sheridan won a Bafta for her role in the ITV show Cilla, and has appeared in lead roles in TV series such as The Widower, Black Work, The Moorside and The C Word, as well as a variety of theatre productions including her acclaimed runs in West End hits Legally Blonde and Funny Girl.

Sheridan is also an accomplished singer, and this year she released her debut album titled Sheridan. During the programme, Sheridan will perform songs from her new album as well as other favourite musical numbers, accompanied by a live orchestra. Songs she performs include Don’t Rain On My Parade, Crazy, Anyone Who Had a Heart, City of Stars, I Smell a Rat, Mad About the Boy and Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.

Sheridan airs Sunday 5 November 2017 from 9.00pm-10.00pm on ITV.
