Walter Presents: Vanished By The Lake Premieres Wed 13 Dec on Channel 4

Walter Presents – which showcases the best foreign language drama series from around the world – continues with haunting crime drama from France, Vanished by the Lake airing on Wednesday 13 December at 10.00pm on Channel 4, in which a homicide detective returns to her hometown and finds that a teenager has vanished in a case identical to the disappearance of her two best friends 15 years previously.

Lise Stocker, head of the Paris Crime Bureau, returns to her small hometown to care for her mother, who has Alzheimer’s disease. Upon her return, she hears that a teenager named Chloe has vanished during a local celebration. The mystery ignites old memories for Lise, as 15 years earlier her two best friends, Ana and Marion, disappeared during the very same annual event. Is there a connection between the two incidents? Starring Barbara Schulz, Marie-Anne Chazel, Lannick Gautry, Philippe Duquesne, Armelle Deutsch, Cyril Lecomte and Vincent Deniard.
