Return Of The Six Million Dollar Man And The Bionic Woman DVD Review

Both Steve Austin and Jamie Summers as The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman were the stars of many a child’s best TV show ever during the 1970’s. In 1987 they re-united for a very fab TV movie which this month is released by Shock on DVD.

Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner might be a few years older and in Major’s case definitely a bit paunchier but the magic is definitely still there. The former OSI (Office of Scientific Information) members are called back into action when an old enemy group by the name of FORTRESS are determined to steal the secrets of bionics for themselves.

With lots of nods to the past (via flashbacks to old episodes) and one eye on a future series (Steve’s pilot son Jim also ends up with Bionic body parts after his plane crashes) this is awesome stuff! All of the original cast members are on board and the story line is strong too. Definitely worth seeking out!
