Goldie Hawn

Goldie Hawn was born in Washington, DC in November 1945. She studied drama at the American University but dropped out to dance the can-can at the 1965 World’s Fair. She was a go-go dancer before she came to attention playing a ditzy blonde on the top 60s TV show Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In. Occasionally ditzy in real life – she won the best supporting actress Oscar in 1969 for Cactus Flower, but forgot to go.
