English actor who made an early appearance in cult tv series A Very Peculiar Practice (1986) before making a real breakthrough with The Full Monty (1997). Another Game of Thrones alumni playing a key role, Robert Baratheon, in the first season. Other key credits include The Thin Blue Line, New Blood and White House Farm.
