Albert And Victoria ITV Sitcom, Alfred Marks, Zena Walker

Sitcom Albert And Victoria was set in Victorian times when stern father Albert Hackett (Alfred Marks) keeps a firm hand on the tiller of his family.

Sadly Barbara Murray only appeared in the first two episodes of season two, she had taken over the role of Victoria from Zena Walker but then suffered a miscarriage with only two episodes completed. She was replaced at short notice by Frances Bennett for the remainder of the second and final season. Barbara featured on the cover of the TV Times (Aug 14, 1971) for the premiere of the second season and with a two page interview inside talking about her experiences.

There was a short special broadcast as part of the All Star Comedy Carnival which went out on 25 December 1970.
