Any Time Now (BBC One 2002, Angeline Ball, Susan Lynch)

Comedy drama series Any Time Now follows the fortunes of Nora who returns from America for her father’s funeral in Dublin and meets up again with two friends, Stevie and Kate. Unfortunately Nora’s life in America was not all she made it out to be and her tales of being an actress in a US TV series were all made up and she is in fact penniless. Her father’s inheritance promises to save her until a wife she knew nothing about turns up to claim the estate.
