Assignment Foreign Legion (ITV 1956, Merle Oberon)

Assignment Foreign Legion was an action adventure series telling stories of a female journalist working with the foreign legion.

Basically Merle Oberon served as host of the series with each episode then focusing on a different self contained story.

The series attracted a high calibre of guest stars including the likes of Lionel Jeffries, Alfred Burke, Patrick Allen, Christopher Lee, Norman Rossington, Patrick Barr, Patrick McGoohan, Roger Moore, Dennis Price, Anthony Newley, Peter Wyngarde, Richard Johnson, Adrienne Corri, Roger Delgado, Patrick Troughton and Michael Ripper.
