Blandings (BBC-1 2013, Timothy Spall, Jennifer Saunders)

P.G. Wodehouse just never goes out of fashion does he and neither does one of his most loved characters the bumbling Lord Emsworth, head of the household at Blandings Castle. This rather gorgeous Sunday night series brings the world of Blandings to life in fine style with Timothy Spall in the lead as Clarence Emsworth ably supported by Jennifer Saunders as his equally eccentric sister Connie.

Fabulous production values, great casting and hugely funny stories make this a very real treat.
