Period afternoon drama series The Cedar Tree followed the convoluted lives of uppercrust family The Bournes during the 1930′s and 40′s.
Mostly shown twice weekly at lunchtimes (1.30pm) on various week days there were 107 half hour episodes and then from episode 108 (broadcast 2 July 1978) the episodes switched to 60 minutes and were shown only once a week.
