The Curse of Civil War Gold is a non-fiction series about American Civil War history on History Channel. It is essentially a spin off of The Curse of Oak Island.
Based on a 100 year old deathbed confession from a local lighthouse keeper, Michigan native Kevin Dykstra and his team search for a cache of Civil War Gold, estimated to be worth around $140 million dollars. Dykstra and his team join forces with Marty Lagina from The Curse of Oak Island to try to solve the mystery and find the lost gold.

Kevin Dykstra – A facilities director at a Muskegon high school and part time treasure hunter who is a certified diver

Fred Monroe – A researcher, Kevin’s friend and a part time treasure hunter
Al Dykstra – Kevin’s younger brother and a certified diver
Jeff Zehr – A researcher on the team who is a certified diver
Alex Lagina – Son of Marty Lagina and a certified diver.
