In one off drama Dad, written by Lucy Gannon, Larry (Richard Briers), 86, cares single-handedly for his beloved wife Jeannie (Jean Heywood), who has Alzheimer’s disease. But a fall changes their lives for ever. as Jeannie moves into residential care and Larry goes to stay with his family.

The 90 minute drama aired in the run-up to Comic Relief on 11 March, and part of its Elder Abuse Campaign.
