Darrow and Darrow (Hallmark 2017, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Tom Cavanagh)

Darrow and Darrow follows the life of Claire Darrow (Williams-Paisley), an idealistic lawyer who fights for what’s right, regardless of whether it makes her a dime. Kay (Malick) is her estranged mother, who suddenly reenters the picture after losing her job at a New York law firm after taking the fall for an insider trading scandal.

The pair clashes on nearly everything, especially on the best way to raise Claire’s daughter, Louise (Lilah Fitzgerald), a bright 12-year-old with an older soul. Further complicating Claire’s life is Miles Strasburg (Cavanagh), the A.D.A. While he’s her adversary in the courtroom, outside of court Miles tries to make a case for taking their professional relationship to a more personal level.
