Fury (NBC 1955-1959, Peter Graves, Bobby Diamond)

Fury was a children’s Saturday morning modern day Western that starred Bobby Diamond as young Joey Newton living in Capital City in the South with his dad Jim.

Jim was Joey’s adoptive father having taken him in after the orphan got in trouble with the police. Most of the plotlines revolved around Joey’s adventures with his horse Fury.

They lived at Broken Wheel ranch and Joey along with his pals Packey and Pee Wee was never far away from trouble.

Shot on film and pretty popular, Fury only finished when Peter Graves decided to head out to Australia to make the prime time series Whiplash. The series was also known as Black Stallion for some of its re-run appearances.
